About Society
Maulana Azad institute of humanities, Science & Technology, Railway Station Road, Mahmudabad, Sitapur, U. P. has been established by the OUDH GRAMIN KRISHAK SEWA UTTHAN SMITI (OGKSUS). It is a registered Society under U.P. Society Registration Act 1860 (Act 21 of 1860).
It was registered in the year 1996, since then, it has undertaken many social , educational and welfare programmes for the benefit of Rural population, Minorities, weaker Section and Urban population. In 1997 it organized a medical camp at Mahmudabad which was attended by more than three thousand patients. Eminent Cardiologist, Neurologist, Child Specialist, Cancer Specialist, Orthopedic and Dental Surgeons attended the patients free of cost and prescribed treatment. A few prominent names of specialists who attended camp are mentioned below :-

Some of the projects of OUDH GRAMIN KRISHAK SEWA UTTHAN SAMITI (OGKSUS) are mentioned below
1. PROPOSED KRISHI VIGYAN KENDRA (K.V.K.) AT MURTUZA NAGAR TEHSIL MAHMUDABAD, DISTRICT SITAPUR.
A Project for Establishing Agriculture production Centre at Murtuza Nagar, Mahmudabad was prepared and submitted to Government of India through State Gov. for consideration. The matter is under active consideration of Central Gov. The salient features of project are given below:
a. OUDH GRAMIN KRISHAK SEWA UTTHAN SAMITI (OGKSUS), Mahmudabad is a well established Institution imparting training in various branches of Agriculture. It has 4 pons adequate built up area of carring out its preset needs. In case of expansion or conversion into K.V.K. the present space and facility have to be expanded.
2. INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY OF COMPUTER SCIENCE AT MEHMUDABAD, SITAPUR.
The Academy is imparting Education in the field of Computer Science to the students particularly belong to minorities, Dalits and Weaker Section of the Society since 2001. It is giving free training to many girls students. It has been recognized by the Uttar Pradesh Development Systems Corporation Ltd. (UPDESCO) (A Govt. of U.P. Undertaking).
3. MOTHER TERESA INSTITUTE OF GENERAL AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION, ALIGANJ, LUCKNOW.
The Board of Technical education has grated recognition to the institute in the following trades:
a. ONE YEAR POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA COURSE IN TOURISM AND TRAVEL MANAGEMENT.
b. ONE YEAR POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA COURSE IN BEAUTY AND HEALTH CARE.
4. DR. ZAKIR HUSAIN MEMORIAL PUBLIC LIBRARY, MAHMUDABAD, DISTRICT SITAPUR.
This is the only public library being established in that area by the OUDH GRAMIN KRISHAK SEWA UTTHAN SAMITI (OGKSUS), Mahmudabad, Sitapur. The students in general and particularly belonging to minorities will be greatly benefited by the library.
